But here, well, I have been awake since 5:30, when Gabe so lovingly woke me up from the best sleep I have had in more than a week.  Oh well. It felt really great.  I am really glad that I did it.  Later in the morning (at about 9:15) we went to the zoo and spent several hours there.  I like the Memphis zoo, but I wish that they had those little feeding stations where you can buy pelleted food to feed the animals. She wrote in her blog of crazy people in Flagstaff wearing shorts and flip flops already.  Megan... that is what happens once the temps rise above freezing in the more wintery climates!  I recall wearing tee-shirts, shorts, and sandals once the temp was about 50 in Bemidji, and it felt great!
